By submitting prayer requests to the Prayer Wall, you are giving consent for the church to post prayer requests online. Castleton Community Church has the right to edit all information submitted to ensure the proper level of privacy is maintained. If you would like to share a prayer or praise with the staff and elders only (i.e., not posted on the Prayer Wall), please select "DO NOT Share This" when submitting your request.

Jill Bass
Mom will be released from the rehab facility on Friday. She is much stronger and able to walk short distances. There are many challenges ahead. Please pray for her strength. Pray for me to have patience, God's perfect wisdom, and strength for the task. Pray that she would be able to worship with us on Sunday morning. Pray also that God's perfect love will cast out my fear.

Marguerite Havard
Dear Church Family, We began today with Psalm 145 and have seen its evidence throughout. God supplied courage for the tough moments and encouragement from unexpected sources. I had zero issues with the general anesthesia and am currently still benefiting from the localized nerve block. No cancer was detected and my surgeon stated all went very well. We’re so very grateful for your care and prayers. Thank you.

We're privileged to intercede for our church family in these requests on the Prayer Wall. We ask that you pray along with us for Marguerite's surgery the morning of January 21 to address her recent diagnosis of 'complex atypical hyperplasia'. We're thankful for God's pervading peace during this time and the many evidences of His grace. Please pray for her surgical team: unity, precision, joy in using the skills God's given them. Pray for accuracy in determination of presence/absence of cancer. Pray for strength and joy for those who're stepping into our various responsibilities during the recovery period. We're asking the Lord for healing and a return to full strength for Marguerite. Thank you family of God!

I recently learned that I have "spots" on my lungs that may be calcified nodules, tumors, or signs of a lung disease. This was providentially caught when I was getting an x-ray of my spine and neck. I am scheduled for pulmonary function tests on Feb. 11 and see a pulmonologist Feb. 15. I am continuing to cope with symptoms from a neurological/vestibular issue. I would appreciate prayers for accurate diagnosis & treatment. Please also pray for endurance. I am trusting in the waiting.

Shirley Zumwalt is in St Vincent 86tth street hospital. Her sodium level is very low causing her deep and distressing confusion. They are attempting to bring the level up hoping she will return to her normal self. Visitors aren’t allowed due to covid. Please pray for peace!
