Local Outreach at Castleton
Castleton Community Church’s Local Outreach exists to lead our community to know and trust Jesus through giving of our resources and time to meet the physical and spiritual needs of our neighbors.

Life Centers
Life Centers is about real-life change. Their focus is on saving babies from abortion and transforming the lives of their mothers and fathers right here in Central Indiana.
All donations received go towards the operation of their five centers around greater Indianapolis that offer free services to our clients such as medical grade pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, peer counseling, pregnancy support supplies, post abortion counseling and other services.
Indianapolis Theological Seminary
Indianapolis Theological Seminary collaborates with local churches for biblical and theological training unto the glory of God in Christ Jesus.
Working with churches right here in Indianapolis, they combine practical experience in live ministry contexts with robust in-class instruction. Their vision is to cultivate and multiply gospel ministers for the glory of God and the good of his people.
Local Outreach Ministries
Week of Wonder
Week of Wonder is our annual week of fun for kids aged 4 years old through 6th grade! Like a traditional VBS, our Week of Wonder is a fun and safe place for kids to learn about Jesus. The week is filled with songs, lessons, skits, crafts, games, and snacks, all designed to teach the children about the Gospel. Each year, through a different theme, the kids learn about God's saving work through Jesus' death on the cross.
Week of Wonder usually takes place in the first week of June. Registration usually opens in March.
Community Cookout
Our annual Community Cookout is our opportunity to bless the community through a fun, family-friendly evening of free food, bounce house and slide, dunk tank, and raffle. This is a great way for us to meet members of our community and being building gospel-relationships with them. The Community Cookout usually takes place in the late summer / early fall.
Castleton Community Pantry & Library
During the 2020 pandemic, we began a ministry to provide basic needs to those directly in our community through a on-site pantry. Our community pantry is regularly stocked to meet a few basic needs of those in our community who need it most. If you know anyone in need, we encourage you to check out the pantry today! Community Playground
We welcome you to join us at our family-friendly playground, designed for ages 2-12. We pray this playground is a blessing to the surrounding community and neighborhoods.
The playground was built in 2026 through the generous donations of Castleton Community Church.
The Prayer Path
In 2024, a beautiful prayer path was paved through the trees behind the church building. It has served many people looking for a place to get away and pray.
The Prayer Path is open to Castleton Church and the Castleton community.
