Women's Ministry

Castleton Women's Ministry

Castleton Women's Ministry is focused on connecting with God, his Word, and one another. We want to lead women to know and trust Jesus through Christ-centered community, discipleship, and biblical development.

Women's Fall Bible Study:

Genesis 1-11: God of Creation (10 Weeks)

The theme of Women's Ministry this year is: "Look How You Walk: How walking with Christ transforms your heart and sets your priorities."

Beginning the week of September 4th, we will be studying the book of Genesis to see examples of people who walked with the Lord and those who walked away from the Lord. Their lives serve as examples to us today.

Please join us for our Fall Bible Study: God of Creation by Jen Wilkin. The opening chapters of Genesis teach us fundamental truths about God. We watch Him bring light after darkness, order after chaos, and rest after toil—all through the power of His Word.

Over 10 sessions of verse-by-verse study, we will dive into Genesis 1-11. We will revisit familiar stories and historical figures, challenge your basic knowledge, and discover deeper meanings in the text. As God reveals Himself through Scripture, we can only begin to understand ourselves when we first glimpse the character, attributes, and promises of our Creator.

This Bible study will be offered at 2 times during the week:
Wednesdays | 7 P.M. | Starting September 6
Saturdays | 9 A.M. | Starting September 9

Titus 2 Groups:

What are Titus 2 Women's Discipleship Groups?

In Titus 2:3-5, the apostle Paul paints of beautiful picture of a church where older and mature women in the faith are training younger women to faithfully live out the gospel. This vision of discipleship is something we strive to emulate at Castleton Community Church, and our prayer is that this intentional discipleship is happening organically within our church.

One of the ways we formally pursue the vision of Titus 2 is through our Titus 2 Discipleship Groups. These year-long groups are led by two spiritually mature, older women who are committed to leading women to know and trust Jesus more and more. These groups (no larger than 6) meet together once a month to discuss what the Bible says about pursuing godliness as a woman using books like Adorned or Growing Together as helpful frameworks. Furthermore, leaders will also meet one-on-one with the individual members of the group for more personal discipleship in Christ.

Our ultimate hope is that these deep, intentional relationships will propel our women to faithfully live out the heart of Titus 2 and they would know and trust Jesus in an abiding way.

Looking to participate in a Titus 2 Group?

If you’re a woman looking for intentional discipleship, we’d love for you to consider a Titus 2 Discipleship Group! These year-long groups begin in January of every year but space is limited. Let us know if you’re interested being a Titus 2 mentee by filling out a Titus 2 mentee interest form.
